As a therapist, I have a person-centered approach that honors each person's unique values, experiences, and cultural backgrounds. I hope to help you become aware of your emotions, celebrate your strengths, and learn skills to work through challenges. I like to collaborate with you to create your own therapy goals and empower you through mindfulness, strength-based, and somatic-informed approaches.
My areas of focus include:
Teen and Adolescent Counseling
Young Adult Counseling
Anxiety
Self-Esteem
Depression
Social Anxiety
I am also a teacher who works with students with social, emotional, and learning challenges. I have taught and mentored children and adolescents in different capacities for 15 years. I am passionate about creating safe and supportive spaces where people can be vulnerable, honest, and able to grow. I hope to help clients develop a deeper sense of self-compassion, insight, self-confidence, and the awareness to embrace and find balance within their own nervous systems.
I grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and enjoy climbing 14ers, long-distance backpacking, photography, theatre, and raising a Beagle puppy with my partner Scott.
